Fixed Income Securities are obligations of issuers to pay investors a regular and fixed amount of cashflows (i.e. coupon interest) over a period of time wherein the face amount invested (i.e. principal amount) is paid back to the investor at the end of term. Investors can enjoy the benefits of having a stable source of passive income over a certain period of time. Fixed Income Securities are sometimes referred to as debt securities or bonds.

Treasury Bill (TBILL) |
Short-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr) which represent obligations of the Republic of the Philippines. Generally, the BTr auctions T-Bills with maturities ranging from 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year maturities. |
Retail Treasury Bond (RTB) |
Medium to long-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr). Proceeds of the issuance are used to fund various government projects and programs. |
Fixed Rate Treasury Note (FXTN) |
Similar to RTBs, FXTNs are medium to long-term investment securities issued by the Philippine Government through the Bureau of Treasury (BTr). But unlike RTBs, the minimum investment for FXTN is Php 10,000.00 |

Medium to long-term investment securities issued by corporations denominated in US Dollars or Foreign Currencies. These securities represent USD/Foreign Currency obligations of issuing companies. Investors would be exposed to the potential benefits and risks associated with foreign exchange fluctuations. |
